I just added some more information and pics of me and Shoni to the Inwood Manor section of my website. I had a great deal of people visit yesterday and that is always a great sign. I would really like to hear from you and let me know what you think good or bad. Its nice to hear from people and listen to their experiences.
Wild Wind I just talked to the care takers of the Inwood Manor today and they are giving us permission to come and check out the property. I can't believe that we are actually going to be going to the Inwood Manor and investigate our very first home. The really exciting thing is that there has been hauntings and the caretakers told me that there hasn't been anything recently because they have kept it quiet. But they are willing to let us come and check it out and take care of their ghosts. But first this Saturday we are going to the Passumpsic River which sits at the base of the Manor and investigating that. There is a great deal of history there and on my website I have a whole page deicated to it. You should check it out. I will keep everyone updated!! Talk to you soon!!1
Wild Wind I have started my research on hopefully our first expedition to The Inwood Manor in East Barnet, Vermont. I went to the Barnet Town Clerk office today and started looking up land owners and I got to the date 1888 before the trail got cold. Tomorrow I will be coming back to the library and seeing what kind of inforamtion I can find out on all of the owners of the Inwood Manor. I'm so excited to be doing this and it is so fun. The farther back I had gotten in history the more excited I got. I thought I was going to pee my pants. I have lived in East Barnet for 25 years and worked at the Inwood Manor when I was a teenager and saw paranormal activity myself then so I'm hoping that the owners now will indulge us on our first expedition. I will keep you informed. I will also let you know what my report is when I get in finished. If you would like to know more about myself and my team with S.P.I.R.I.T of the Northeast Kingdom then you can visit Gypsy and Wolfs website where Gypsy has mad a whole page about us as a team. Below is a link to their website.
http://gypsywolf.weebly.com/spirit-of-the-northeast-kingdom.html Thanks for stopping in and have a look around. You won't be disappointed! Wild Wind I'm finally on vacation! Its the first one since I have been back at the farm last July!!!! I have been sooooo busy that I have forgotten how to breathe! I have just finished my journal about my animal stories and animal messengers. My mom is reading it right now. My friend Gypsy who gave me the journal read it first and she loved it. Which was a big boost for my ego. I love to write! Its a great outlet for me. Now all I have to do is find a publisher and I should be set. Cappy, one of the morgans that I take care of Foundered a couple of weeks ago and we have been tending to her and she is well on her way to getting back on track. If you would like more info on Founder or Laminitis then you can go to my blog.
www.oldsilotrailblazers.blogspot.com That has been doing really well as well. I'm very excitied that it has taken off the way it has. It makes me feel good that I'm possibly helping people I don't even know. What an awesome feeling!!!! Well I guess that is it for now time to get back to my vacation! Talk to you all again real soon! On last friday I lost my best friend. I came home from the barn and my daughter was crying and yelling for me as I got to the house. All I heard was "Mom something is really wrong with Melody!" Shoni never calls Mel Mel, Melody unless there is a real problem. I ran in the house and the poor ole girl was having seizures. I picked her up and brought her to my vets office, but they were closed so I went to the other vets office and that vet was out to lunch. I almost had to travel about 10 miles away to another vet when the vet who was out to lunch came back. They were kind and took us in and they looked her over. She had really bad kitty vertigo and they wanted to do two weeks worth of shots with pills and they wanted me to cross the state with her to do MRI's to see if she had a pollupe on her brain. Being a person with a very low income I decided to put her down. I had Mel Mel for 13 years. Just as long as I have had my own daughter. She will be sadly missed. she was my anchor when things went bad and I could always count on her to be there no matter what mood I was in. I love you Mel!
