On last friday I lost my best friend. I came home from the barn and my daughter was crying and yelling for me as I got to the house. All I heard was "Mom something is really wrong with Melody!" Shoni never calls Mel Mel, Melody unless there is a real problem. I ran in the house and the poor ole girl was having seizures. I picked her up and brought her to my vets office, but they were closed so I went to the other vets office and that vet was out to lunch. I almost had to travel about 10 miles away to another vet when the vet who was out to lunch came back. They were kind and took us in and they looked her over. She had really bad kitty vertigo and they wanted to do two weeks worth of shots with pills and they wanted me to cross the state with her to do MRI's to see if she had a pollupe on her brain. Being a person with a very low income I decided to put her down. I had Mel Mel for 13 years. Just as long as I have had my own daughter. She will be sadly missed. she was my anchor when things went bad and I could always count on her to be there no matter what mood I was in. I love you Mel!
